my 2 cents: Bye Bye Plaxo

After I have noticed that PLAXO's Outlook Sync option will be never ever for free again (aye, they have put it into the Premium service for smth around USD 60 per year!

) I decided not to continue to invite my business partners to this, former great, service.

Actually, I don't care who and what is doing on Facebook - but THIS crappy feature is still FOR FREE available...

The Outlook sync option was the one I -and as I have learned many others- mostly used - how else do you sync several desktop, netbook, laptop pc's the easiest way with your Outlook contacts?

Easy sync between Google Calendar and Outlook? No problem - just hit the button, done in a jiffy.

Now I have to find another tool and install it for this kind of sync. Dammit...

At least they could have waited till Windows 7 is released - here in Europe we have, as you might know, to re-install the whole system (thanks, Europe!).

So, that means: keep the fingers crossed that the export of the Outlooks PST is working properly and even the re-import will move smoothly.

Otherwise I think I have to check if my printer got enough paper and ink... ;-)
