The German Golf License – Part 2

Golf Course-keh

It's getting serious – yesterday Yogi signed himself & me up for the Platzreife (German golf license) at golf club Schloss Monrepos.

So, while he was standing at the reception of the club, signing up for the course, I was browsing around XING – and found a really interesting group: the Stuttgart Business Golfer (SBG) group.
Thanks for signing up in this group I was able to get a voucher for EUR 50.00 for the golf club – this voucher of EUR 50 equals to golf balls of 588 pcs.

Today I visited the golf club once again to pay the EUR 389.00 for the course – and to pick up my golf bag (brand: JG Golf) and a set of 5 clubs (= iron 6 + 8 , PW , putter , pitching wedge and a hybrid; all 5 clubs are brand ALBATROS).
Sounds like a fair deal, eh? A license course, a voucher – and some "starter clubs" for less then EUR 390…

The course itself will start on the last Saturday in October – till then I'm not only going to practice my game at the local golf club(s) but also in the SouthLinks Country Club, Batam while I stay there in the Holiday Inn (geez… EUR 30 per night in a 4 star hotel – I'M SUCH A LUCKY BASTARD *keke*)

Nest step, after completing the course, will be the worst part:
finding a cheap golf club which enables me to play here in Germany and throughout the world…
