New Windows – Day 1.1

Today it’s Day 1 of the installation of my new window front in the bedroom and living room. Took me around 2 1/2 years to convince my landlord to do this necessary renovation – not only due to the fact that the windows / balcony doors I have at the moment are not really “energy saving” but also due to the fact that the door in the living room is “out of service”…

So I was busy the last days to move my whole furniture as best & much as possible to other spots in the corresponding rooms…

At the end that’s how it looks like here at the moment:

Acc to the boss of the “window guys” they need 2 days for the whole construction – 1 day for each room.

Fun Fact:
When Yogi heard that I get new windows the first question was: “Have you prepared a corresponding craftsmen breakfast made of beer & bread…”

Actually, I am not surprised that they need 2 days for the whole working – who would expect that the company will sent enough people to do this in 1 days? Time is money – and as long time they need, as more money they earn… isn’t it?
