So, last Monday's tournament wasn't that bad for me after all... played a nice 65 on 9 holes - meaning that I was able to "level-up" from handicap 51 to 50 *yeah*
Actually, if I wouldn't have had a total of 2 penalties (which results of a total 3 strokes plus – even if the ball in play is only hit one) and on the 7th hole this dumb goose wouldn't have decided to... “jump” into my flying ball… I'm pretty sure I would have scored a 59 or even better...
So I will give it a new shot upcoming Monday - let's see what handicap I will win there (which will be then the determining factor for the 18-hole tournament on Saturday). At least I can't loose as long as my HCP is 36+ ;-) And I’m very confident that I’ll be able to score a 62 or better like I did on my yesterday’s “training round” (with my current HCP of 50 and a score of 62 like yesterday my new HCP would 47).
